Colcha Club

Keeping New Mexican traditions alive, one stitch at a time.

About the Club

Join us for a warm, welcoming gathering of stitchers of all experience levels as we celebrate and carry forward the art of Colcha embroidery—a traditional New Mexican form of hand-stitching with deep cultural roots. Founded in 2005, the Colcha Club meets monthly at the museum, inviting both longtime members and curious newcomers to sit, stitch, and share in community.
