Visiting the Museum

The Nuevo Mexicano Heritage Arts Museum is open:
Wednesday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PMAdmission is free for all visitors. Donations are welcome and help support our exhibitions, programs, and community outreach.

No tickets are required. Admission to the museum is free, and you're welcome to visit anytime during open hours.
If you're planning to visit with a group, we kindly ask that you complete our Group Visit Form in advance so we can help make your visit smooth and enjoyable.

The Nuevo Mexicano Heritage Arts Museum is located on Museum Hill at:
750 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe, NM 87505Free parking is available in the museum’s own lot, located just to the side of the building.
Accessible parking spaces are available directly next to the museum entrance. -

The museum offers free admission for all visitors, so no additional discounts are needed. We welcome everyone to explore and enjoy the museum at no cost.
Donations are always welcome and help us keep our programs and exhibitions accessible to the community.

Non-flash photography for personal use is welcome in most areas of the museum.
Please be mindful of other visitors and avoid touching any artwork or exhibits. In some cases, certain objects or exhibitions may be labeled “no photography.”
For commercial use or special photo requests, please contact us in advance.
Programs and Group Visits

Free docent-led tours are offered on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM.
No registration is required for individuals — just arrive a few minutes early and check in at the front desk.
If you're planning a group visit or would like to request a special tour, a tour request form will be available soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact us.

Yes — we welcome visits from schools, community groups, and organizations. To help us prepare and offer the best experience, we ask that groups contact us in advance.

Support and Contact

We appreciate your interest in supporting the museum's mission through donations of art or cultural materials. While we are not actively seeking new acquisitions at this time, we welcome inquiries about potential donations.

We’re currently working with a small group of dedicated volunteers as we build a more formal volunteer program. While we’re not accepting new volunteer applications at this time, we truly appreciate your interest.
